June 2008 Marysia is doing 6 shows at the Montreal Fringe Festival in Canada.

Sept 2007 Marysia recovers from 65 shows in 28 days in August at Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2007. Thanks for all the acts she booked onto the Midnight Carousel and all the audiences for both that and her Primitive Man show

June 12th 07 Marysia will be doing a one hour live radio broadcast on Monday 16th July 07 at 7pm on Resonance FM 104.4, she will be doing parts of her two Edinburgh shows so cabaret, comedy and the odd bit of jazz with her live band.

June 11th 07 Marysia is doing a jazz/cabaret show with the odd bit of comedy for the Lawn Tennis Association Men's Tournament at the Nottingham Open, Tuesday June 19th. Marysia and her band will be playing for the top 100 world ranking male tennis players during dinner and afterwards.

June   Marysia is doing two London preview shows Thursday 21st June and Thursday 19th July at Volupte (see tour dates)

Marysia is currently writing her second album. It will be recorded after the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and released Jan 08.

Edinburgh Marysia's new comedy/cabaret show 'Find Me A Primitive Man' will be at C Central 8.50pm, Edinburgh for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Marysia is also hosting, performing and programming the nightly Midnight Carousel show at C venues. Both shows will run from August 1st - 27th 07 inclusive.

Marysia's jazz bass playing continues.... Next jazz gig where she is playing bass is March 28th 07.

Following her recent gigs at Mortons in Feb 07 and Cavendish Square she is taking a little breather to write new songs and gags She can be found in many of Londons comedy stores trying out new material.

Marysia is also part of a 30 piece accapella jazz choir - next gig Sat 24th March 07.

Another of the things you may not know about Marysia is that she has been studying more and more advanced jazz theory in class for a day a week at school for the last couple of years with her electric bass guitar. She is not sure exactly how many more scales those jazz guys made up nor indeed how you are supposed to fit them in a fast moving song with two chords per bar but she will let you know when she figures it out. Those who do want to see Marysia do one of her more traditional jazz shows as a bass player rather than a front line vocalist should email her as she will not do a general email about this!. She has considered taking up double bass but is refusing to on the basis it won't fit in her two seater car. Music is important but not that important!
